My new normal.

Actually, it’s my old normal and I love it.

With this full moon in Pisces, my heart is also full as my next adventure manifests.

This week, I made the decision to go from an Instructional #Substitute to a Full Time #Educator and I couldn’t be happier.
(Help me remember this on the inevitable “What the hell was I thinking?!” days.

It’s the right kind of b-a-n-a-n-a-s (did you sing it? I always do.)
as things come together.

Happy Tuesday!
I’ll be answering to “Coach” for the rest of the week.
I’m teaching hysical Education at various schools.

I may trade in #SubSelfie for #TeacherSelfie.
I applied for a permanent position at my favorite school yesterday & booked the interview for tomorrow. It’s a position where I can be useful and do meaningful work with the students who I judge need it most (pray with me).

Today, I played Shark and Minnows and caught the fastest child in class (it requires an Epsom Salt soak now… cuz old!)

So happy school is back in session and I spent my first day with some of my fave BBs.
Today, I was “Coach!”
My first teaching job was actually as a PE teacher, so I was right at home.
Today, some babies learned to double dutch.
Because for me a #professionalblackgirl dd, tetherball and handball are rites of passage.
