How apropos that this message of strength reaches me today as I remember my other mother.
She did not deny her strength, including the strength of vulnerability and leaning in to love and support.
I think of my sisters and my niece’s and her strength continues to be present and evident.
I am grateful to have experienced her strength and now my own.
